Nutrition Coaching for Perimenopause

Hi there!
For most women, perimenopause is a stressful and challenging time. You most likely weren’t expecting the physical and emotional upheaval that this transition causes. I know I certainly wasn’t.
I started having heart palpitations and anxiety in my early 40’s and had no idea what was happening. This was something new and alarming that I didn’t understand.
I mentioned it to a friend, and she suggested I call her acupuncturist. I’d never had acupuncture, but I was so undone by what was happening that I was willing to try anything.
When I described what was going on, the acupuncturist said, “I think you’re going through menopause.” What!?! How could that be? I didn’t have hot flashes, and as far as I knew that was the only sign of menopause. That and not getting your period. I no longer got my period since I’d had a hysterectomy (my ovaries intact) several years earlier.
The acupuncture session went well, and my symptoms disappeared. Afterwards I decided to make an appointment with my gynecologist. She did blood work and confirmed what the acupuncturist had said. I was indeed experiencing perimenopause.
I am a nutritionist and health coach. I work with women in perimenopause, menopause and post menopause who are tired of trying to function with brain fog and hot flashes and a myriad of other disturbing things going on in their bodies. I help them to make sense of what is happening, find a solution for their specific symptoms and most importantly, help them get their lives back.
I’m passionate about what I do because I know firsthand that not knowing makes everything worse. I want women to understand how perimenopause and menopause affects them personally and more importantly, that there are solutions. No one should suffer through this transition.
Every woman’s menopause is a very personal experience. You may not notice any changes, or you may feel like you got hit by a Mack truck.
Maybe you’re experiencing symptoms that you don’t even associate with menopause. The list of menopause symptoms is a long one and includes hot flashes, night sweats, weight gain, heart palpitations, joint pain, trouble sleeping, and brain fog to mention a few.
If your symptoms are making you miserable and you are ready to get your life back, I suggest you sign up for my 4-week coaching program.
I offer a customized, multi-tiered program that meets one hour a week for 4 weeks. You have the option to extend our time beyond the initial 4 weeks.
We start by uncovering the root cause of your symptoms by considering factors such as stress management, nutrition, sleep and exercise. You will get resources, support and accountability. Most importantly you will feel in control of your body and your life.
Working with me always starts with a phone call where you can ask me questions and learn about my coaching style. This gives us a chance to get to know each other and you can decide if we are a good fit. You are not obligated to work with me just because we have this conversation.
If you decide to work with me, I will send you a health questionnaire to complete. We will agree on a time to meet, and you will be on your way to achieving your goals and getting your life back.
