Weight Loss + Wellness
Jersey City
January 3, 2025
Hi there!
We’ve crossed the threshold and have arrived in 2025. A new year and a new beginning. Isn’t it nice to know we can turn the page and have a new start? What are you dreaming about or wishing for this year?
Whatever it is, I wish you a new year full of magic, peace, prosperity and possibility.
2024 was a year of change. I sold my house and downsized. Whew – that was huge! Then I got my perimenopause and menopause certification. Another major milestone.
That one made me think about my practice and how I wanted to show up for you. This ultimately led me to rebranding and changing my website offerings. Next week I’ll pull back the curtain and let you see everything but for now, think of me as your weight and wellness coach.
I realized that everyone who comes to me for coaching is concerned about weight loss. Most of my clients are in perimenopause or menopause. Everyone has different symptoms but the one common question everyone asks is, “Why am I gaining weight and how do I lose it?”
Weight loss in menopause is different which is why it’s so frustrating. The old rules of eating less and working out more no longer apply. You need a different strategy, one that isn’t just about food. It requires a whole-body approach which makes it about wellness and not just about weight. By using this approach, weight loss becomes possible and sustainable.
Over the next 4 weeks I’ll be sharing lifestyle and food choices that influence weight loss. If this is something you’ve been wondering about, be sure not to miss any of my newsletters this month. Also, if you have questions about weight, food or anything else, let me know by replying to this email and I’ll be sure to answer.
Next week I’ll be sharing how stress impacts weight. We all have stress. How can you manage it?
See you next week. And if you know someone who can benefit from this info, please share.
Be well,
Laura
Do you have a question for me? I’d love to hear from you.
