Should you take Ashwagandha or Nettles?

Hi there!
There is a very old menopause book by Susun Weed called The Wise Woman Ways. I referred to it years ago when I was trying to navigate menopause. I think it was the only menopause book available back then.
It has herbal remedies and rituals to use for different menopause symptoms. I tried some but never got the results I was looking for. Some of the symptoms I needed help with were not even mentioned. It was an interesting read but, in the end, it wasn’t very helpful.
That’s because herbs are very specific, and the dosage matters as does the amount of time that you need to take an herb. Herbs can also interact with medications that you may be taking. Herbs can definitely be beneficial, but you need to have a knowledge of herbs or work with a clinical herbalist. I wouldn’t suggest experimenting on your own.
If you are curious about trying herbs for your menopause symptoms, be sure to join Bonnie Rose Weaver and myself on February 18th. We’re offering a webinar on menopause and how to use herbs (Bonnie) and nutrition (me) for menopause symptoms.
Bonnie Rose is a clinical herbalist and the perfect person to talk about herbs and menopause. The webinar is an hour long (from 8pm to 9pm). We have allowed time for questions so if you have questions, bring them.
This webinar is part of her Think Like an Herbalist series. The cost is pay what you want from $0 - $20.

The other sessions are good too, but February 18th is about menopause.
